Celebrating Greg Stefanyk’s Retirement

On July 10, the Dawson Co-op team gathered at the Home & Agro Centre to honour an incredible milestone: the retirement of Greg Stefanyk after more than four decades of dedicated service.

The event was a true celebration of Greg’s legacy, attended by senior leadership, several board members, colleagues, customers—and plenty of sunshine and smiles. The highlight? A custom cake featuring a throwback photo of Greg from 1996, reminding everyone just how long he's been a familiar and trusted face in our Co-op family.

Guests lined up for a BBQ lunch and took photos with Greg in his very own “throne of honour”—a playful tribute to his leadership, humour, and long-standing impact on our team and community.

Greg’s commitment, work ethic, and friendly nature have shaped the culture of the Dawson Co-op in countless ways. We’re grateful for everything he’s contributed and wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement.
