Dawson Co-op Members Shape the Future at the 2026 AGM

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Dawson Co-op Annual General Meeting on May 14, 2026.

Please join us in welcoming Marlana Blouin as our newest director.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Judy Clavier for her many years of dedicated service on the Dawson Co-op Board of Directors. Judy has made a meaningful impact through her commitment to the co-operative model, thoughtful leadership, and genuine care for our members, employees, and communities. Her contributions have helped shape Dawson Co-op in important ways, and we thank her for the time, energy, and passion she brought to the role.

Members also voted in favour of both Special Resolution 1 (R1) and Special Resolution 2 (R2) during the AGM. R1 updated the director eligibility requirements to allow a member to combine their household purchases with one other adult member living at the same address in order to meet the annual spending threshold required to run for the Board. R2 modernized the Co-op’s governance procedures by allowing the Board to determine the most appropriate method for recording meeting attendance, replacing the requirement for a physical signature book.

Thank you to all members who attended and participated in this year’s AGM. Member engagement remains one of the greatest strengths of the co-operative model and continues to help guide the future of Dawson Co-op.
